Weekly Update:

This week (Ending Friday 23rd February 2018)

Maths: We have learned about data handling and coordinates.

English: We have introduced our new talk for writing text, The Great Kapok Tree.

Geography: We have been learning about tribal life in the tropical rainforest.

Science: We have learned to classify rainforest animals into groups according to their features.

ICT: We have been applying our coding skills from term 3 to use Scratch. 

PSHE: We have been learning about resilience and ways we can be more resilient.

RE: We have been learning about the significance of Easter to Christians.

PE: We have been introduced to handball and begun to do aerobics.

Music: We have been listening and responding to rainforest music.

Art and DT: We have been learning about printing techniques and how these can be used to create animal pictures.


Next week : (Ending Friday 2nd March 2018)

Maths: We will be problem solving in a range of contexts.

English: We will continue to work with our talk for writing text, the Great Kapok Tree.

Geography: We will learn about settlements in tropical rainforests.

Science: We will use classification keys to sort rainforest species.

ICT: We have been developing our skills in coding with Scratch.

PSHE: We will learn about British values  and focus on tolerance.

RE: We will continue to learn about the importance of Easter to Christians.

PE: We will develop our skills in Handball and build on our aerobics introduction from last week. 

Art & DT: We will use printing techniques to create animal pictures on a rainforest theme.

Music: We will be listening and responding to rainforest music.
